Armagh City FC joins forces with Women's Aid Armagh Down

Armagh City Football Club is proud to announce a new partnership with Women's Aid Armagh Down.

This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for everyone in our community, both on and off the pitch.

Football has the power to bring people together, raise awareness, raise vital funds and make a positive difference. By working alongside Women's Aid Armagh Down, we hope to support the organisation's vital work with women and children affected by domestic abuse; while encouraging conversations that promote healthy relationships and challenge abusive behaviour.

Armagh City Football Club Chairman Ryan Kelly said:

"We're delighted to be partnering with Women's Aid Armagh Down. As a family club, we recognise the important role football plays in bringing people together and creating positive role models within our community.

"Throughout the season we'll be working together on a number of initiatives that we hope will not only raise awareness of the important work Women's Aid does, but also raise valuable funds to support the next phase of the ELEOS Centre. We look forward to sharing more details with our members, supporters and the wider community in the coming weeks."

Women's Aid Armagh Down is currently fundraising for Phases 2 and 3 of the ELEOS Centre, its vision for a centre of excellence providing specialist, trauma-informed support for women and children affected by domestic abuse. Every pound raised through the partnership will help bring that vision a step closer.
